Golf Course Rules
Unaccompanied Guests – Villages residents are given the opportunity to register their sponsored unaccompanied golfing guests with the Pro Shop ahead of time and they accept the responsibility for them during their visit(s). The Pro Shop will keep a list of these “Registered Unaccompanied Guests” and their sponsors. Any so Registered Guest would be permitted to phone the Pro Shop directly to make a tee time 7 or less days in advance of play. The Registered Guest could make a tee time for up to four people. The other guest’s names would be given to the Pro Shop when the reservation is made and entered on the Chelsea tee sheet by the Pro Shop staff. The Pro Shop would print out a tee sheet and fax or e-mail it to Security any morning that there will be unaccompanied guests arriving that day.
ALL RESIDENTS AND GUESTS MUST OBSERVE THE DRESS CODE
Golfers shall be appropriately dressed at all times while using the golf facilities. This includes the Driving Range & all practice facilities. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests are also appropriately attired.
Dress code
Men/Women
No Jean’s, halter tops, tank tops, or metal spikes are permitted on the course or practice areas. Skirts and shorts may not be shorter then 4 inches above the knee. Men’s shirts must have a collar and sleeves.
Handicap Flags - Are given to players with disabilities and are allowed to take their golf carts to up to 30 feet of the green and must keep cart in the rough. (Except on Red Flag Day’s, all carts have to stay on the cart path.)
Signing up to play
Members of the Villages can sign up no more than 2 weeks in advance. Accompanied guests are not allowed to make Tee Times; the member accompanying them has to make the Tee Time.
Guest are not allowed to make Tee Times the member sponsoring them has
to make the Tee Time.
Guest Tee Times are allowed 2 weeks in advance.
Golf Carts
Golf Carts can only travel on the course at a 90 degree angle and must
obey all cart signs
Push Carts
Push Carts must stay off the tee boxes, Fringes, and greens at all times
GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 13 using the golf facilities, other than the golf course, are exempted from adhering strictly to the dress code as long as their attire is appropriate for the facility. T-shirts and jeans that are not cut off or frayed may be worn
