I began playing golf at a very young age. I dug two holes at each end of our family’s yard, inserted a small coffee can as the liner, and practiced until nightfall. In high school I played on the golf team which was highly ranked in the state of Texas. I attended college in New Mexico on a full golf scholarship for four years. I began my golf professional career in 1988 at Parkway Golf Course in Fremont California. In 1995 I came to the Villages as the first assistant golf professional. I became the director of instruction in 1998 and established the teaching program here at the Villages. From 2003-2008 I served as the head golf professional here at the Villages. In March of 2008 I resumed my teaching responsibilities as the director of instruction here at the Villages.

The golf instruction program here at the Villages Golf & Country Club is one of the finest in Northern California. We offer students a comprehensive teaching program geared for students of all skill levels. Our highly qualified and experienced PGA professionals offer quality instruction at some of the lowest rates in the bay area.

The following is an outline of our numerous programs and affordable rates.

Junior rates - children under 17 will be $10 less that the adult rate

Junior summer camp - 5 day camp $300 per student

Dale Bradley

After developing shotmaking skills for a two year period in Bermuda, I set a career path to helping students enjoy the game of golf. By attending PGA teaching seminars over the years with instructors: Jimmy Ballard, Jim McLean, Mike McGettrick, Davis Love Jr. and tour players such as Jack Nicklaus and George Knudsen, I have fine tuned the learning experience for students into a simple, fun and rewarding package.

The experience of seeing immediate results will enhance ball flight control, develop the sense of feel and give students confidence for lower scoring.

Group classes are available for beginners and on-course lessons for the advanced golfer. Handouts, homework and video analysis are included with private lessons.
