Unaccompanied Guests – Villages residents may sponsor unaccompanied golfing guests with the Pro Shop.  The resident assumes the responsibility for unaccompanied guests during their visits to The Villages.  The Pro Shop will keep a list of “Registered Unaccompanied Guests” and their sponsors.  Registered Unaccompanied Guests are permitted to phone the Pro Shop directly to reserve a tee time seven or fewer days in advance of play. The Registered Unaccompanied Guest may reserve a tee time for up to four people.  The other guests’ names must be given to the Pro Shop when the reservation is made.  The Pro Shop staff will enter the names on the Chelsea tee sheet and fax or e-mail it to Public Safety on the morning of play.

ALL RESIDENTS AND GUESTS MUST OBSERVE THE DRESS CODE

Golfers shall be appropriately dressed at all times while using the golf facilities. This includes the Driving Range & all practice facilities. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests are also appropriately attired.

Dress code
Men/Women
No jeans, halter tops, tank tops, or metal spikes are permitted on the course or practice areas. Skirts and shorts may not be shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Men’s shirts must have a collar and sleeves.

Course Conditions

Handicap Flags – Players with disabilities will be given a handicap flag allowing them to take their golf carts to within 30 feet of the green.  Carts must be kept in the rough.  All carts must stay on the cart paths, except on Red Flag Days.

Reserving Tee Times
Villages residents may reserve tee times no more than two weeks in advance.  Accompanied guests are not allowed to reserve tee times. Registered Unaccompanied Guests may reserve tee times seven or fewer days in advance of play.

Golf Carts
Golf carts may only travel on the course at a 90 degree angle and must obey all cart signs.

Push Carts
Push carts must stay off the tee boxes, fringes, and greens at all times.

GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 13 using the golf facilities, other than the golf course, are exempted from adhering strictly to the dress code as long as their attire is appropriate for the facility. T-shirts and jeans that are not cut off or frayed may be worn.
